I am beyond grateful for the exceptional care I received from Dr. Singhal and all the staff at NY Gynecology Endometriosis. I have been struggling with infertility and suspected endometriosis for the last few years.<\/p>

My husband came across Dr. Singhal\u2019s name after doing a ton of research and we saw all his glowing reviews. From the very first consultation, I felt heard, understood, and supported. I have not had the traditional symptoms of endometriosis, mainly infertility and failed response to IVF transfers. However, Dr. Singhal was confident based on what I told him that he would likely find endometriosis. My robotic assisted surgery was on 2\/25\/25 with Dr. Singhal and Dr. McLean. Everything went well, and the recovery process has been smooth thanks to both of their skill and expertise.<\/p>

Dr. Singhal did, in fact, find endometriosis and was able to remove all of it. \"In finding Dr Singhal, I really was able to find a safe space because he, as soon as he heard all of my symptoms, he knew exactly what was going on. They were able to put me on the schedule to be able to actually do a full excision of everything.

I wanted to share with you something that I wrote last week and shared on my social media. I hope after you read this you have a better understanding of the life-changing impact you have made on my life.<\/p>

11 years.<\/strong><\/p>

I contemplated writing this post and sharing my story but I feel it would be a disservice to myself and other women if I didn\u2019t.<\/p>

11 years ago I was 26 years old living in Astoria Queens. That was the last time I felt \u201chealthy.\u201d Soon after turning 26 is when the endless pain began and my life forever changed.<\/p>

11 years of correct diagnoses and not correct diagnoses, 11 years of a home looking like a pharmacy, 11 years of endless amounts of money spent, 11 years of seeing 50 plus \u201cDoctors & specialists\u201d, 11 years of endless procedures, 11 years of injecting myself and catheterizing myself, 11 years of \u201cdiets\u201d and diet changes, 11 years of unbearable pain, 11 years of physical therapy & acupuncture, medical massage, naturopaths, medications & dietitians. 11 years of comments \u201cit\u2019s in her head\u201d, 11 years of fatigue and exhaustion, 11 years of insomnia, 11 years of nausea, 11 years of migraines, 11 years of losing 15 pounds in two months followed by gaining 15 pounds in two months, 11 years of chronic bloating, 11 years of \u201cIBS\u201d, 11 years of my body failing on me, 11 years of referrals to more and more specialists, 11 years of having to call out sick from work because I couldn\u2019t even get out of bed, 11 years of being gaslight by the medical community, 11 years of being told I look healthy so I couldn\u2019t be \u201cthat sick\u201d, 11 years of OB\u2019s saying your bad periods and pain are normal, 11 years of having to cancel plans on family and friends, 11 years of anxiety, depression, and hopelessness, 11 years of not understanding what was going on inside my body and why? Why my body? 11 years of not feeling normal, 11 years of saying to myself just take it \u201cone day at a time\u201d, stay positive, be positive, they are going to figure it out.<\/p>

11 years of pages long of diagnoses (some accurate, most not).<\/p>

On February 13, 2025, I had robotic excision surgery to remove endometriosis. I also had an appendectomy, cystoscopy and hydrodistention procedure. I was diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis. My surgery lasted 3 hours. It took me three hours to come to from the anesthesia. The validation I felt when my surgeon walked over to me and said \u201cWE GOT IT ALL\u201d is a feeling I haven\u2019t been able to put into words. A majority of the endometriosis was found on my bladder, bowels, & pelvic wall.<\/p>

The sad part is yes\u2026 It will probably grow back and I will most likely need more surgeries but the validation I feel to finally have answers after 11 years has motivated me and given me a new lease on life. Recovery has been rough but I will get through it. Thank you to my close family and friends who have supported me and loved me through it all.<\/p>

Post op I will continue seeing my endometriosis coach, start pelvic floor PT in a few weeks, start on a new regimen of supplements that I learned about from Katie Edmonds author of \u201cHeal Endo\u201d, get back to acupuncture, medical massage, nutritionist that specializes in endo, and focus on healing and building my body back up. I\u2019ll be back at work in 6-8 weeks with the best, most supportive staff and students who I love dearly.<\/p>

Ladies, you know your bodies best! If something doesn\u2019t feel right or you aren\u2019t getting answers or are getting push back from your doctors. Pleaseeeee advocate for yourselves and get that second opinion! I always assumed endometriosis just meant bad periods. I had no idea that it is a systemic disease that affects the WHOLE BODY. I was recommended to Dr Singhal following results of a routine exam. While this is a very scary and stressful time when you hear the words Cancer, whether preliminary or fully metastasized, it has been extremely overwhelming and he has made this process easier to deal with. After several biopsies and surgery, options were provided and discussed and a hysterectomy was decided upon.<\/p>

So far office staff has been pleasant in helping accommodate all my appointments. Dolores is phenomenal at check in. I am now finally scheduled for my hysterectomy after years of suffering with Endometriosis, Adenomyosis and PCOS and being told by multiple physicians that I wasn\u2019t a candidate and needed to try all conservative measures while continuing to suffer.<\/p>

Dr Singhal is extremely professional, very compassionate and thorough. I\u2019m pleased thus far and while I\u2019m terrified of this upcoming procedure, I feel confident that I am in good hands. I highly recommend this Oncology OBGYN physician! The only thing I will advise in full transparency, is you must be patient when in the office. In my experience waiting times are usually a bit longer especially because he\u2019s always very busy. I unlike most, am totally ok with that because his volume speaks to his capacity as a physician.<\/p>

I wish I could give Dr. Singhal and this office more than five stars. I have had five previous surgeries for severe stage four endometriosis, usually driving into Manhattan for surgeons that were supposed to be the best of the best, but from the second I walked in the door of Dr. Singhal\u2019s office, everything was different.<\/p>

He is just incredibly kind and takes his time with patients, never makes you feel stupid or rushed. I trusted him immediately. Surgery was 11 days ago and went extremely well, he immediately came out and showed my wife pictures of what he found and what he had done so she would understand, and after my postop appointment today, I\u2019m even more impressed. He exudes both skill and compassion, a combination that has proven to be difficult to find in surgeons.<\/p>

The office staff has also been incredible, Sarah and Courtney in particular have gone out of their way for me time and time again, answering my endless phone call questions and even calling me on the weekend after my surgery to ensure I had what I needed. I wish I could leave ten stars because that\u2019s what Dr. Singhal and his office deserves.<\/p>

Before I can leave a review, I have to share part of my journey thus far. Since I can remember, my periods have been painful and heavy. I suffer from back and leg pain, gastrointestinal issues, brain fog, pain during and after intercourse, and intense burning \u201cknife- like\u201d pain during urination and bowel movements.<\/p>

Previous doctors that I have seen have gaslit me, as well as dismissed and rushed me out of the door. My first gynecologist, word for word, told me that \u201c I needed to relax and have a drink\u201d when I shared with her that I was experiencing intense pain during intercourse. The next gynecologist advised me to \u201cjust get pregnant\u201d it will solve your endometriosis. This same doctor also performed my laparoscopic surgery and removed my lesions by way of an ablation. This is not the correct way to remove endometriosis. It needs to be excised.<\/p>

You will not find any of the above mentioned examples with Dr. Singhal because he is truly one of the kindest, gentlest, most genuine doctors\/surgeons I have ever encountered. He is patient and listens to every word you say and advocates for you as his patient, as well as a human being. I have never felt so validated by a doctor before. He makes you feel safe and comfortable in knowing that you are in his care. He is beyond brilliant and I cannot recommend him enough. I am forever grateful to my friend who recommended I see him. I just had my laparoscopic excision surgery for my endometriosis with him on September 3rd. I can already feel myself healing all thanks to Dr. Singhal.<\/p>

Lastly, I want to also share that his staff is beyond amazing as well. They are kind, patient, personable individuals. They each take the time to listen to you when you call, which is rare to find in such a high volume setting. The office is beautiful and immaculate and how can I forget to mention George! George is Dr. Singhal and Dr. McLean\u2019s dog who comes to visit the office and provides joy, as well as emotional support wherever needed.<\/p>

I found Dr. Singhal\u2019s name through my school community Facebook page but then came to these reviews for further input. As stated he truly is wonderful. My surgery was more extensive than we anticipated but he did it wonderfully. I had a huge endometrioma on my right ovary, my left tube and ovary was covered in scar tissue that he removed, as well as multiple spots of endometriosis.<\/p>

I have been to many doctors for my endometriosis treatment.<\/p>

Dr. Singhal is professional, understanding and honest. I stumbled upon his webpage while googling a number for a practice I was new to and extremely unhappy with. I took it as a sign and made an appt for a consultation.<\/p>

I left the appt feeling really good about the treatment plans we went over he took his time to explain all the options. I recently had a biopsy done as step one of the treatment plan, for me this was extremely nerve wracking and I had a lot of anxiety walking in. I have had bad experiences in other practices and didn\u2019t know what to expect. It was not painful, he was quick and explained what he was doing. Even afterwards i was fine. The office is clean. \n\nThe drive is worth the travel for the level of care they provide. I have over a decade struggle of endometriosis. I've been diagnosed Stage 4 with Frozen Pelvis, one of the more severe cases. I was introduced to Dr. Singhal and Dr. McLean after being very sick for many years and seeing numerous doctors, to no avail. I was not able to get any clear answers, and the treatments I received only offered temporary relief. I have been dismissed and undiagnosed by many doctors over the years. I was losing hope in finding anyone who would properly explain what was happening to me physically and also take into consideration what I was feeling mentally.<\/p>

After meeting Dr. Singhal and Dr. McLean, I have learned that my current symptoms are a result of my endometriosis coming back. The knowledge they have of this disease and the thoroughness with which they explain it to you is something I have never experienced. Dr. Singhal has truly changed my life. I had previous endometriosis surgery costing 15k by one of the well known providers out there in NYC which was a 6 hour drive for me to only require surgery again 2 years later.<\/p>

Dr. Singhal and Dr. McLean are very thorough and knowledgeable surgeons. They set clear expectations for my two surgeries. I was operated for stage 4 endometriosis by Dr. Singhal and Dr. McLean.<\/p>
